Careers in Early Childhood Education

Course Overview:
It’s difficult to think of any business that has as much impact on the world and our society as a child’s care, education and development. As Nelson Mandela stated, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
As with any business, in order to be successful, you must be fully familiar with Operational Procedures & Organizational Policies, Standards, Licensing, Regulation & Codes and Emergency & Other Critical procedures. You will learn techniques to foster a loving & rich environment for the children and a structured & disciplined environment for all workers. This course exposes you to all aspects associated with starting and running a business in childcare and early childhood education.
Note: This course is not designed for ELL (English Language Learners) students. ELL students may enroll in this course ONLY if they have adequate mentor support at their home school and are able to fulfill all course requirements.
