Red Comet's Online Program for High School Classes Receives Top Rating from Students in a Statewide Survey

Students from Washington State have Rated Red Comet’s Online High School as One of the Best in Terms of Student Satisfaction. Students Were Surveyed on Many Aspects of the Online Program including Academic Content, Quality of Teachers, Ease of Navigation and Use, Schedule and Progress Reporting, Technical Support and Whether They Would Like to Take More Red Comet Online Courses.

Red Comet announced today that its online high school classes received top rating from students and parents on the survey conducted by the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).http://digitallearning.k12.wa.us/approval/providers/survey/list

Overall, seventy nine percent of the surveyed students said they were ‘very satisfied’ with Red Comet’s online learning program. Eighty seven percent said that it was very easy to get started with the online high school classes. Ninety one percent agreed that our online program met the student’s academic needs. Seventy three percent felt well-served by our online high school teachers. Eighty eight percent rated us highly on the online program’s ease of use and navigation utilities. Red Comet’s progress-tracking utility allowed eighty seven percent of the students to stay on track for the coursework and manage their time and priorities efficiently. This applied to both – students taking the high school class for the first time as well as students taking the high school class for credit recovery. Ninety percent of the students said that they would consider enrolling in more Red Comet’s online program in the future.

“Everything about Redcomet was fantastic. I took multiple classes through them, and I loved all of them. They are the reason I’m graduating on time. I love it, and would highly recommend it to anyone”, said one student in the Washington State survey. “The experience was very fulfilling. Thanks to red comet, I can now graduate with my class!” exclaimed another. “Good course content; my student learned the course material after failing it in the classroom. Great customer service!” said another parent of a twelfth grade high school student.

“Most students and parents were highly satisfied with the overall online learning and the support they received. Students throughout the country can use Red Comet’s high school classes that include all the core subjects as well as numerous high school electives. Red Comet is also approved by OSPI – Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (http://www.k12.wa.us/ ) as a “Multi District Online Course Provider” and as a “Online School Program Provider”. Students in Washington State may qualify to take Red Comet courses free of charge. All Red Comet course credits for high school classes are accepted by most High Schools throughout the United States of America. This applies to credit recovery as well.
