The Music in World Cultures Course examines music throughout the ages and from around the world. The course helps you to get a better understanding of various cultures, providing you with a diverse overview of the music created in those cultures. It also covers the benefits of music, careers, ancient music, and music in the Middle Ages. Other lessons within the course cover Europe’s Renaissance, Baroque, Western Classical, and Romantic Music, as well as music from Canada, South America, Australia, Oceania, and Asia. The course even delves into modern music and how it pertains to society today. The goal of the course is to provide you with a good and well-rounded knowledge of music from the earliest times to the modern day.
Note: This course is not designed for ELL (English Language Learners) students. ELL students may enroll in this course ONLY if they have adequate mentor support at their home school and are able to fulfill all course requirements.
