Chemistry I provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and applications of general chemistry. This course examines topics that include composition of matter, the atom, chemical bonding, solutions, measurements, chemical nomenclature, stoichiometry, and thermochemistry. Satisfactory completion of the course requires passing a midterm and a final exam. This course does not include the laboratory component.
